FemCare Wellness collects only the information needed to run this website, sell and schedule consultations, and send our newsletter. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we are

FemCare Wellness is the women's Functional Medicine practice of Judith Kaplan, CNM, APRN, at 2820 NE 214th St, Suite 801, Aventura, FL 33180, United States. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean FemCare Wellness. You can reach us at [email protected].

This policy covers www.judithcare.com, the Root Health Newsletter, online checkout and online booking. Health information you share during a consultation is covered by the "Health information" section below.

Information we collect

• When you subscribe to the newsletter: your name and email address, to send you the Root Health Newsletter.
• When you buy a consultation: your full name, email and phone number, to process your purchase, send receipts and contact you about your appointment.
• When you pay: card and billing details, entered directly with our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. If you choose to save your card, the processor stores it for future purchases.
• When you book a session: the date, time and time zone you choose, to schedule and hold your consultation.
• When you create a client account: your email, password (stored by our platform) and purchases, to give you access to your consultations.
• When you email us: your message and contact details, to answer you.
• When you visit the site: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring page, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

How we use your information

• To provide, schedule and follow up on the consultations you book.
• To process payments, refunds and records we must keep for tax and accounting.
• To send the newsletter, if you subscribed. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your questions and send service messages (receipts, booking confirmations, reminders).
• To protect the website, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the practice, and only as needed for their task:

• Kajabi, which hosts our website, checkout, booking, client accounts and email. Kajabi uses its own sub-processors, including Amazon Web Services (hosting), Cloudflare (security), Mailgun (email delivery) and RudderStack (site analytics).
• Kajabi Payments, powered by Stripe, which processes card payments and helps prevent fraud.
• The video service we use for online consultations, which carries the video call.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or with your permission.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies set by our platform and payment processor. We do not use advertising cookies, and the site does not currently use Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel.

• rl_anonymous_id, rl_session, rl_page_init_referrer (RudderStack, for Kajabi): measure visits and page views.
• __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid (Stripe): fraud prevention during checkout.
• AWSALBTG, AWSALBTGCORS (Amazon Web Services): keep your connection on the same server.
• POPUP-CSRF-TOKEN (Kajabi): protects forms against misuse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as checkout, may not work without them. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

Health information

Please don't send detailed medical information through website forms or regular email. If you need to share health information, we will tell you how to do it safely during your consultation.

Health information you share with Judith during a consultation is kept confidential as part of your health record, as Florida law requires. You can ask us at any time how your health information is used and protected.

Your choices and rights

• Newsletter: unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
• Account details: update them in your client account settings.
• Access, correction or deletion: email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as payment and health records, for as long as the law requires.

How long we keep information

• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
• Purchase and payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
• Health records: for as long as Florida law requires.

Security

Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and payments are handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor. No online system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. A consultation for someone under 18 must be booked by a parent or legal guardian.

Visitors outside the United States

Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make important changes, we will post a notice on the website.
