Holistic Functional and Integrative Medicine infused with Ancient Wisdoms of Traditional Midwifery
WELCOME
For over three decades, I have been privileged to attend over 3,600 births in homes, hospitals, and birth centers. During that time, women presented me with many health challenges that required ingenuity and determination to treat because conventional medicine didn't offer solutions. Frustrated by conventional medicine's limitations, I was inspired to evolve in a holistic and integrative healthcare approach. In 2018 I graduated from the Women's Integrative Medicine Institute, focusing on Holistic Root Cause Functional Medicine, which focuses on the root cause rather than masking the symptoms.
In my private midwifery practice, my motto was "Your Birth Your Way".
My personal conviction has always been to bring the benefits of home into our hospitals so that all families can benefit from the great outcomes of the Midwifery model of care, and to be reassured and confident at this important time.
I have worked as a team member of OB/GYN/CNM Faculty practices in the following hospitals
-
Brookdale Medical Center, Brooklyn NY
-
Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn NY
-
St Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach FL
-
Boca Raton Medical Center, Boca Raton, FL
and as a staff CNM and RN in Labor and Delivery at
-
Van Nuys Hospital, Van Nuys CA
-
Good Samaritan Hospital, Los Angeles Ca
-

I now work with Licensed Professional Midwives as a CNM consultant at Miami Maternity Center in Miami, Florida, since 2010.
Thank you for your interest in my practice.
CREDENTIALS
Graduate of the Women's Integrative Medicine Institute with an emphasis on Functional Medicine for Women.
My training as a midwife was completed at New York Columbia University's advanced midwifery program for foreign-trained midwives at North Central Bronx Hospital, and at Hadassah School of Nursing's branch program in Safed (Israel). Following master-level studies in Women's Health, Midwifery, Gynecology, Pharmacology, Newborn Resuscitation, lactation counseling, Endocrinology, and more, I was certified by the Israeli Misrad HaBriot and the American Midwifery Certification Board and became a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
I am licensed in Florida as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered-Nurse) and CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife).
Before becoming certified as a CNM in 1989, I worked as an R.N., doula, and childbirth educator. During these years, I also gave birth to ten children, all naturally, thank God, and some were born at home.
